Quality Care since 2001
Country Creek Learning Center opened in August 2001. Country Creek is owned and operated by a mother/daughter team, Candace Page and Sara Bishop.
Sara, the daughter, graduated from UW-Whitewater with a BS in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Sara spent 12 years working in corporate childcare in every capacity from teacher to regional director. She realized her beliefs and philosophy for children were very different than corporate child care.
Candace, mother, a Registered Nurse, was ready to retire her position with the state after 30 years of caring for adults and children.
Together, they bought a farmette, and built a preschool in the perfect spot to offer children an educational program in a natural setting.
Natural Surroundings, just north of Madison
We are located on a five acre farm just north of Madison. Country Creek’s natural surroundings include wooded trails, spacious gardens, a variety of animals and much more! This enriching environment will offer your child opportunities for exploration, experimentation, a sense of wonder, encourage curiosity and expression of ideas, and foster a respect for one another and our environment.
